What’s a SLAM? A SLAM is a slide animation movie that incorporates thousands of photographs to create something that’s not a video, not a slideshow, not anything you’ve ever seen. SLAMs offer fans a you-get-to-be-there look at the live performances of their favorite artists.
History of SLAM
Talking Panda working with photographer Greg Crane, www.gregcranephoto.com, invented the medium and produced the first SLAM for the Angels & Airwaves song “The Adventure” in May 2006. The first SLAM was a partnership with the forward-thinking digital media group at Geffen Records, who realized that they could do more on the iPod than just songs & video – something created especially for the iPod that would offer fans of an artist a unique insight.
